I've rewritten the opening line about forty times. In the end someone told me to just tell three stories and stop trying to sum up a whole person. That unlocked it.

Three stories. That's exactly it. Nobody remembers the summing up, they remember the stories.

Print it large, double spaced, and give a copy to someone who can take over if you falter. Mine had to.
